Dr. Charles Pemberton, Ed.D., LPCC, NCC, has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years. He is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), National Board Certified Counselor and Past President of the Kentucky Counseling Association (KCA). He is also an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), appointed by the ACA president to chair the DSM-5 Task Force. Currently he serves on the State LPCC board. He has served as an adjunct professor at University of Louisville, University of the Cumberlands and in the Behavioral and Health Sciences at KCTCS, he is able to incorporate current research into his practice. Additionally, he has lectured and given workshops in the United States, England and South Africa on educational issues, childcare and addiction.
Aileen Stuecker, M.Ed., LPCC is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Psychology and earned her Master’s Degree in Education and Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville. She is trained in Reactive Attachment Disorder. She currently works with the Jefferson County court system as well as CPS on family reunification and custody cases. She also practices with Centerstone of Louisville where she is responsible for clients ranging in age, gender, race, and diagnosis (including dual diagnosis) and providing clinical supervision to other therapists in site. In addition, she works at various JCPS campuses with students.
